The majority of my projects are custom made for
particular people and places. Custom design is a
partnership, one that requires the flow of ideas
and vision between client and artist to ensure
that the best possible artwork will be made for
the space. I invite you to take the time to look
at the photographs and words on this site to
familiarize yourself with some of my projects and
design style.

When designing a larger installation of paraments and wall hangings, I need to first see the space: the colors, details, architecture and scale. For projects smaller in scope, I will work with photographs and measurements.
When we've decided working together on a commission is a good "fit", we will then talk about your vision and the ideas you would like your artwork to convey, the number of pieces commissioned, style, etc. The next step is approving an estimate that includes fabric cost, design time, construction time, etc., sign a contract, and make a down payment. Then the designing begins.

The designs for your
space are sent to you via e-mail and include a line drawing of your space with my paraments, banners and vestments, and a color rendering. Fabric samples may be provided to you upon request. When the design is approved and we agree on a timeline, the sewing begins.Upon completion, and whenever possible, I love to deliver
the project and oversee installation. I check for fit and photograph. At last, we can celebrate a beautiful and distinctive change to your worship (or other) space.
